This lovely set of woollen split reins was inspired by the Seattle Seahawks. They are constructed out of our original four strand woollen mecate rope.
These reins feature our easy attach slobber straps for quick change out onto any snaffle bit. These reins have a great weight and the "mecate" feel to them, but in a split rein style. Substantial leather poppers are fixed to the bottom ends.
A perfect set up for Cowboy Challenge , Ranch Horse, Polocrosse, camp drafting or leisure riding.
Made from six strand woollen mecate rope, these reins are a bespoke item.
